Boys Nature Bedroom Products and Design BoardsOk, so it's better late than never right?! Are you ready to see the product boards for my son's nature-inspired bedroom? I really need your help making a decision about the bed, especially if you have a strong opinion about one option or the other. You might remember the Boys Bedroom Inspiration boards that I revealed on at the beginning of the week. I loved all of the rooms that I showed there from the vintage inspiration to the bohemian textiles, and playful flourishes in the design. For our son's room, I am building the space around the bed and the artwork. The bed will be a twin bed and it needs to have a trundle below to accommodate overnight guests. So that is an absolute requirement. The bed design will serve as an anchor, as the largest piece of furniture in the room. Since my son loves spending time outdoors and in nature, I wanted to use large scale photography would be an awesome way to bring the outdoors into the room. I have a gorgeous piece of photography to share with you of Icelandic horses that I had printed using Photowall, a company that specializes in digital prints on canvas. I can't wait for you to see how that piece turned out, once I get it all stretched onto the frame! He loved ponies as a toddler and still does. So without further ado, here is Option A: Neel's Mid-century Modern Nature RetreatI definitely want to put a photo of him in the room too~ this one is from last year and he loves looking back at younger versions of himself. This option feels more grown up and sophisticated to me. I am also a big fan of mixing walnut and gray. His current dresser is white and in a separate area of the room (and bolted to the wall;) so it will have to stay for now. Resources for Option A:
There is also Option B: Neel's Scandinavian Rainbow RoomOne thing to know, is that he currently loves rainbows. This board is even more playful and speaks to his current love of color and rainbows, which according to him, are for boys;) This design revolves around light natural wood tones and white shelving. Also he loves the color wheel artwork designed by me for Minted.com Ironically, he can be one of my biggest fans but also my biggest critic;) Which room design do you like best?

I hope that you will follow along with me there! I would love, in some way, to combine the 2 rooms. What are your thoughts about that? Do you have a product board that you prefer over the other? I'd love to hear from you, in the comments.
