Botanical Watercolor Painting - with a Japanese paint set
Create beautiful botanical works of art in this virtual watercolor workshop.
I know that having an outlet for creativity and a way to get started is helpful.
If you are looking for a medium that is easy to work with in short amounts of time, then watercolor is actually my favorite one for this.
Join us for a wonderful opportunity to create through watercolor painting (via Zoom and in the cozy comfort of your own home).
Workshop Date: Saturday, March 13, 2021
Workshop Time: 10am-11:30am PST (90-minute virtual workshop time)
Watercolor Painting Kit: Your materials for the virtual workshop will be shipped to you within 1-2 weeks prior to the class.
Deadline to sign up for the workshop: Friday, February 26, 2021 by 12pm PST
Advance registration is highly recommended- as these workshops sell-out
We also begin with a guided meditation. Once you are relaxed and open, I know the creativity flows!
Next, we will create small works inspired by plants and botanicals of Our Little Stand.
When you join you will receive a special palette of Japanese watercolors in the mail with 6 colors, water brush and special pen, along with watercolor paper in the mail. Because having inspiring materials at your fingertips is essential to creating when the moment is right.
Textile artist and painter Hilary Hahn will be giving detailed instructions to guide you. There will be moments along the way to reflect and share. We will draw inspiration from nature and the potted plants of Our Little Stand.
At the time of writing this there are only 5 gift sets left and the cut-off to order is Saturday, February 27th to allow time for shipping.
So if you’ve ever felt stuck creatively…
Or wanting to try a new medium…
Then this workshop is for you! Join now to allow time for shipping!
Note: Also, a generous portion of the proceeds from your purchase of this class helps fundraise for Our Little Stand's Give Back Program, which aims to provide creative skill-based training workshops to communities in need, and to those less fortunate who don't have access to these resources.
