Watercolor for Relaxation: Small works in the garden
Are you ready to unwind and learn how to paint with watercolors?
We will work with watercolors in an art class that explores color and watercolor techniques. Come away with an understanding of watercolor techniques, specifically brush work.

Join us Saturday, February 20th @ 10:30 a.m. PST for a wonderful opportunity to experience a creative flow state through watercolor painting. This is an in-person workshop with a limited spots available to paint in my Miracle Mile garden, our group will be capped at 5 and social distancing will be followed one-hundred percent.
We will start out with with some practice exercises to loosen up in preparation for painting. Then students will learn how to paint with watercolor washes. We will reference photos (or bring your own reference image to work from) and we will lightly sketch out the composition before adding color and perhaps a special effect if you so desire. There will be a few moments at the end of the class to reflect and share.
This is a wonderful opportunity to experience a creative flow state through watercolor painting.This all ages lesson is geared towards adults and teens. I will be giving detailed instruction on how to paint your composition.
You will deepen your understanding of watercolor while relaxing and tapping into creativity. Watercolor can be a wonderfully calming so take a break and paint with us!!

Other things to note: dress in layers as mornings are cool. We will be set-up at socially distant workstations. We will all wear masks and be seated at least 6 feet apart.

Our workshop will last for 90 minutes and includes a guided meditation as a warm-up.
