Round Wall Weavings with Natural Hand-dyed fibers
Join us Saturday, August 22nd from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00pm. for a chance to create a beautiful round wall weaving using naturally dyed wool and plant fibers! We will be meeting outdoors in a Topanga Canyon green space and social distancing measures will be in place!
Artisanal Supplies included:
- Naturally dyed yarn
- Naturally dyed fabric strips in pomegranate, madder, and indigo
- Warp Thread
- Round ring serving as your loom included!
Supplies to bring:
- Your own scissors
- Strip denim (optional)
- 2 skeins of neutral yarns in colors and textures of your choice
*Option to use an embroidery needle
This class is led by weaver, Trudy Perry, in collaboration with artisan dyer and textile artist, Hilary L Hahn.
