Indigo Shibori cotton carry-all pouch. Dyed striking shades of indigo blue using real organic indigo, not a print! In ancient times, the indigo pigment has been used as dye from Japan to the Americas. Using indigo, the artist can produce an array of blues.
I maintain a natural dye vat and dyed each zip pouch by hand. The handmade nature alone makes this piece truly unique and one of a kind. The pattern is achieved through thoughtful pleating, folding and binding techniques. Made in the USA.
