Join us on March 24th in idyllic Topanga Canyon for a magical day filled with natural dyeing and aromatherapy in this exclusive half day workshop designed to tap into your creativity. Inspired by the approach of Spring and the beauty of natural indigo, you will be guided to create a naturally dyed scarf and a custom aromatherapy oil blend inspired by the Sacred Tree. This workshop is co-hosted by textile designer Hilary L Hahn and certified aromatherapist, Flin Kirts Grant of Art of Essentials. This workshop is now available and there are a limited number of spots. Please contact me, if you have any questions, prior to purchase!
Combining the beautiful blues of natural indigo and earthy pinks of avocado dye to create your own indigo sunrises on a naturally dyed scarf for Spring. This is the perfect activity to embrace the renewing energy that is Spring! Delve into the alchemy of dye, as you mix and layer indigo pigment with avocado dye. You will gain knowledge and skills to use indigo and avocado at home. All levels welcome.
Custom Aromatherapy Oil Blend - The Sacred Tree:
Every ancient culture with a reverence for nature has a sacred grove of trees for rituals or safe harbor. We will combine each of the plant parts used in aromatherapy and create our own sacred tree blends from the ground up, and everyone will take home their own unique rollerball blend. Essential oil origins and natural perfumery notes will be included in this restorative and inspiring aromatic workshop, as we soak in the beautiful environment surrounding us! Well suited for beginners and advanced students alike.
