Up-cycled Fashion Natural Indigo Mini-Workshop
Calling all creative, fashion lovers, and environmentally friendly people.
Autumn is a wonderful time to clean out your closet and re-imagine your wardrobe.
Join us for a mini-indigo workshop experience where you can re-imagine a piece of your clothing using my natural indigo vat- while learning modern techniques to hand-dye your clothes. This workshop with take place in a beautiful courtyard.
Did you know that indigo was used to dye 8th century clothing?
It can create a range of shades from light to dark blue.
In this mini workshop, you will re-create a piece of clothing from your own wardrobe.
Advance registration is encouraged as I get many requests & this workshop is expected to sell out.
Join us for a beautiful morning immersed in Natural Indigo Dye and Shibori techniques in Santa Monica.
When: Saturday, October 22nd at 10 - noon

$55 early bird - bring your own blank textile
$65 regular pricing after Oct 15th
This mini-workshop will include:
- 2 hours of instruction
- use of Japanese Shibori tools
- use of organic indigo vat
- apple cider & snacks
This mini-workshop is taking place in a peaceful semi-private location during our handmade marketplace, so there will be opportunities to socialize & shop - before and after the workshop.
*Attendees can purchase a blank textile from me- if you are looking for something light colored to up-cycle or dye.
