Children's Portrait Workshop - March 19th
Join us for our monthly workshops for children ages to build confidence & creativity in the creation of a portrait on Saturday, March 19th at 10:30 a..m.
This LIVE online art workshop is sure to inspire young artists creatively as we draw & paint together. Art lesson is created with artists ages 8-13 in mind. Inspired by modern painter Susan Simonini.
*younger siblings may join us for an additional fee ($10), if they are up for the challenge and have good concentration for the 75-minute class
We will explore a variety of themes that will give young artists the chance to develop their drawing & painting skills.
Designed for art students who are familiar with the basics and who want to develop their art practice!
We can't wait to see you in our online studio space.
We will look at portraits by painter Susan Simonini and textile artist, Bisa Butler.
Recommended supplies are:
- watercolors
- watercolor paper
- pencil
- colored pencils
- round watercolor paintbrush
Acrylic paints may also be used by advanced artists. Students are instructed to tidy their e-learning space at the end of each lesson.
