Shibori Stitch Online Workshop
Have you ever wanted to delve into Shibori stitch techniques?
Would you like to create a piece of textile art that is frame-able, functions as a coaster, quilt square or decorative patch?
Join us from across the country for our first LIVE meditative Shibori Stitch Night!
Textile artist Hilary L. Hahn will be your guide as we create a textile work of art using Shibori and sashiko techniques. These pieces can also be used as a beautiful accent for a clothing design or quilt. You will come away with the knowledge how stitches can be used before or after dyeing.
*No previous experience is required. Attendees can work at their own pace.
Join us October 17th at 5:30 pm PST- for a 90 minute Shibori stitch demo and collaborative work session. Materials will include: 7" fabric remnant square, sashiko thread and long needle. Attendees are encouraged bring their own fabric remnants, beads, or embroidery thread to add to their compositions as desired.
