Watercolor for Relaxation - June (with a Japanese paint set)
Create beautiful textile patterns with watercolor paint on cold-press watercolor paper in this virtual live workshop to tap into your creativity and learn to relax while painting. I know that having an outlet for creativity and a way to start painting is essential.
If you are looking for a medium that is easy to work with in short amounts of time, then watercolor is actually my favorite one for this.
Join us for a wonderful opportunity to create through watercolor painting (via Zoom and in the cozy comfort of your own home).
Workshop Date: Saturday, June 19th
Workshop Time: 10 a.m. - 11:30a.m. PST (90-minute virtual workshop time)
Supplies are included with sign up. You'll receive a gorgeous 12 color Kuretake watercolor palette, a round brush, and cold-press watercolor paper. Already have your watercolor palette and supplies? Save $25 by signing up here in advance.
Advance registration is highly recommended- as previous workshops sold out.
The workshop will begin with a guided meditation. Once you are relaxed, the creativity flows. Get your comfy clothes ready, grab a warm cup of tea- and let's paint small works inspired by geometric patterns and rug designs.
If you wish to purchase additional watercolors supplies, we love:
Professional watercolor paper (for this workshop we recommend 9"x12" inch or larger size paper)
Textile artist and painter Hilary Hahn will be giving detailed instructions to guide you. There will be moments along the way to reflect and share. We will draw inspiration from patterned rugs and textiles. This special evening workshop will feature slightly larger pieces that will perfect for framing afterwards!
