Today's the day! I have loved following along everyone's beautiful space. I am going to do a mini reveal (don't judge!) After six weeks, our contractor still has not completed the space, and he ran into a snafu yesterday when installing the glass shower door. To be honest, I have been distracted and justing letting him do his thing! I took a look at the space today and realized, he had forgotten to install the oak chair rail, along with our towel holders, hooks and accessories! These items will really make a difference when I am photographing the space because towels add great texture!
On a positive note the grout is all done. Did I mention that I will be back in later to share more styled and complete photography? In the mean time check out the progress and know that all of you guest designers out there have really inspired me.

Main Spa Bath Caddy DIY + It all comes together
We are getting there, it is all coming together. I've made this my mantra for the week. Seriously;) if you can relate- just take a deep breathe and say it with me! But seriously, this week we made lots more progress on tiling and a bath caddy! In this post, I will share the modern look of Heath Ceramics Mid-century white square subway tile along with Island Blue, a new shade that is being developed at their factory laid in a stitch mosaic technique. If you read on down you will see how I made a simple bath caddy out of white oak for endless soaking and relaxing to come.
When we started this challenge, I did not imagine that it would take us all 6 weeks to finish this space, especially since we are working with the help of a contractor and his team. I had visions of doing the photoshoot by Week 4 and having the room all tied up and styled with accessories by this week. Haha- not exactly what's happening! But we do have tile and sink progress.
Main Bath Midcentury Shower & mosaic Tile Design
Week 4 has been exciting and there has been some progress! Also, disclaimer: All the photos that you are about to see look totally 80s due to the purple drywall and the hunter green shower/sealant being used inside the shower. This is according to my contractor a new technique that is easier than hot mopping. The effects are stunning;)
This week's journal is a smorgasbord of photos that reveal some tiling progress since Week 3.
You might remember that we included a hall closet into the bath and we are now converting it to a 36" x 36" shower, to open it up a bit, we created a pony wall where a half sheet of glass will sit dividing the tub and the shower space.
So scroll on down and enjoy! At the end perhaps you can help me to answer a burning question!
